GLOBAL NEC AWARENESS DAY – 17th May 2021

As you all are aware, few years back, SIGNEC along with NEC Society USA and IPGG, Brazil designated 17th May as the Global NEC Awareness day.

Please share details about any relevant teaching, training, research or improvement work you and your teams have been involved with in relation to improving outcomes for babies at risk of NEC.

We would love to showcase and share through our website and social media channels any particular events that you have organised on Global NEC Awareness Day, especially those involving children and families.

While some improvements have been made in the last few years, a lot more needs to be done to improve outcomes for children with NEC as well as the experience of parents.

Together we can and will make a difference.

Wishing you all the best
